So what’s the news?! Well, we keep working and thrashing, basically!? ;-)
The year 2009 started out with some cool shows (special “thank you” to the people at Hard Metal fest in Portugal for having us!) and we would like to mention that we appreciate everybody of you for the continued support as well as for giving the new guys in the band a fine welcome. Cheers!
For the time being, we’ll mainly remain “quiet” on the surface, as we are currently focused on working on new songs. And we’ll spend as much time and energy as demanded to make the new material turns out killer! We will do some basic pre-production in June, so we will probably be able to tell you
some more by then…
We will still be playing some shows casually as well of course. Next up and this week: A first-ever trip to Greece where we will play two shows…

Hey Thrashers…!
Been silent here for too long….
We wanted to bring to your attention that DEW-SCENTED’s line-up underwent major changes earlier this year, as the people who have met us or seen us live ever since will probably have noticed!? But we never really officially announced things…until now:
After long years of co-operating fruitfully, it was time for a change and consequently we parted ways with guitarplayers Florian Müller and Hendrik Bache. It just happened to become the best of choices for the band’s future. We did immediately enter an intense rehearsal period to get the band regrouped smoothly and were lucky to quickly find a highly motivated and extremely talented new guitar-duo with Michael Borchers and Martin Walczak. Welcome on board, dudes! Adding up to the work behind closed doors, we also tracked down a new steady drummer in Marc-Andrée Dieken, finally ending a lengthy time of uncertainty and session drummers. Marc is surely a “familiar” face to some of you as he already helped us out as live-drummer for a while back in 2004 and also he played together with bassplayer Alex for death metallers Obscenity.

Hey everybody…
Thought we would send you some Summer greetings and re-cap a little since it’s been silent over here in the last weeks and people are starting to wonder what’s up…
Well, the usual: Some touring, some watching of the European soccer championship, some line-up trouble and then being part of a TV quiz show. But let’s walk through slowly
First off, we would like to look back to our February “European Devastation” run with our friends Severe Torture and Destinity: What a blast! It was straining to play longer headline sets every night but we seriously enjoyed all dates and seeing so many good people come out to support this killer package! Can’t wait to do something like that again, so thanks to everybody involved! Also thanks to our former drummer Uwe for re-joining us on those dates for some class METAL and good times!
